Serving Grafton, WV

The Ford F-150 is a full-size truck commanding roads for several decades. It has been progressively improved over the years and has marched through 14 generations. While the 2023 F-150 is a mid-generation model, it does introduce a few exciting improvements. The most notable of these improvements is introducing the Raptor R trim level. Our Toothman Ford associates are available to help you get better acquainted with this new trim level through a detailed comparison.

Performance

The Raptor R sits at the top of the trim lineup for the 2023 Ford F-150. It receives 700 horsepower from a supercharged V8, 5.2-liter engine. The Raptor R also has a larger fuel tank, six upfitter switches, an off-roading suspension, and adaptive Fox shock absorbers. There are five other powertrains offered across the F-150’s lineup. The base F-150 trim for 2023 receives 290 horsepower from its 3.3-liter V6 engine. Notably, a hybrid powertrain is also available. This is a 430-net-horsepower system that includes a turbo V6, 3.5-liter gas engine.

Appearance

You can easily differentiate the Raptor R from other F-150 trim levels. This is because it comes with 37-inch all-terrain tires, branded and flared fenders, and a branded grille. Other trims show off an encompassing grille that sits over a wraparound bumper, and this grille is connected to a pair of tall, stacked LED headlights. The F-150 has a prominent height with a modest angle through the hood and a confident profile through the roof.

Features

There are some differences in features between the F-150 Raptor R and the other F-150 trims. This trim comes explicitly with Recaro front sport seats, unique upholstery, interior graphics, and bead-lock-capable wheels. The Raptor R also has many of the same features you will discover in other trim levels. These features include heated seats, a premium sound system, Pro Power Onboard, a 360-degree camera, a moonroof, adaptive cruise control, evasive steering assist, wireless smartphone charging, smart device app connectivity, and more.
