2023 Ford F-150 vs 2023 RAM 1500

Serving Grafton, WV

With comparable options like the Ford F-150 and the RAM 1500, many Grafton-area truck buyers may initially feel torn by the possibilities. However, the 2023 F-150 and the 2023 RAM 1500 strongly differ in their performances, styles, and features. After you check out these differences deeper, you can more easily narrow down the possibilities to a specific model.

Performance

If you decide that the 2023 F-150 is the right truck for you, you will have access to six different engine possibilities. A 290-horsepower, V6, 3.3-liter system kicks off the options. At the top end of the spectrum, a 700-horsepower, 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine is available. You could also choose a 430-horsepower, turbo, 3.6-liter, V6 hybrid engine. The 2023 RAM 1500 is only available with four engine options. The first two powertrains offered are mild-hybrid engines, and they offer 305 horsepower or 395 horsepower. The higher RAM 1500 trims may be available with a supercharged V8 or a diesel V6 system.

Appearance

You can easily tell the 2023 F-150 apart from the 2023 RAM 1500 in a side-by-side comparison. The F-150 has solid dimensions with boldly accented side doors and a flat hood. The tall grille is flanked by a pair of stacked headlights, which are capped on two sides by an LED ribbon. An air vent is mounted near the front rear wheels, and a body-colored accent runs linearly across the door panels. The RAM 1500 has a slightly curved nose with a smaller, hexagon-shaped grille. The rectangular headlights flank the upper portion of the grille. The hood is sculpted for a rounded look. The door panels feature a metallic belt, and the rear fenders are slightly accented.

Features

Your continued look at the 2023 Ford F-150 takes you to its incredible features. Based on the trim level selected, your F-150 could come with heated seats for both rows, a power tailgate featuring a work surface, a navigation system, onboard scales, wireless device charging, a B&O audio system with 18 speakers, backup assist, Pro Power Onboard and a two-panel moonroof. The 2023 RAM 1500, on the other hand, has a different combination of features. Its base-level equipment includes an air filtration system, remote keyless entry, a six-speaker audio system, vinyl seats, and an AC system.
